Winnifred Hollingsworth Jackson Is known for breaking barriers. She currently holds professional licenses in sports, law, and finance. Shattering the glass ceiling in finance, Winnifred earned securities licenses when only a few women worked in asset management and trading. After her employment at one of the largest multinational financial service corporations, she entered law school graduating at the top of her class. Always mindful of the responsibility to the play it forward, she began her legal career as a civil rights attorney at Louisiana Department Justice, Office of the Attorney General. She later opened a private law firm in Louisiana specializing in catastrophic injury, medical malpractice and estate planning all while overseeing a successful family business. Throughout her career, Winnifred has represented various plaintiffs including professional athletes in the NFL and NBA, models, entertainers, and film directors. Following enrollment at the Law Center at the University of Texas–Austin in 2015, she obtained certification as an NFL Contract Advisor. Winnifred is also a licensed NBA and WNBA agent.
Winnifred is a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, American Bar Association, National Association of Trial Lawyers, and the North American Securities Dealers Association. She has received numerous national and local awards, including, recognition as one of Louisiana’s Top 100 Female Business Executives, and the Harry Blake Community Business Award.
